Ruby in color with medium plus intensity. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with mild complexity. Showing red currants, cherries, plums, sweet strawberries, light oak, bitter herbs, spices, light earth and black pepper. Soft tannins on the finish with tangy raspberries. This is an enjoyable Pinot Noir from Mendocino County. Tangy and interesting. Fruit forward and spicy. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Good right out of the bottle and good by itself.
Pairs with beef, veal, game and poultry
