Black Saint Peter is a rich California Zinfandel from old vines in the premium Lodi district, the "Zinfandel Capital of the World." Many of the region's wines come from gnarled, low-yielding (but flavor-boosting) vines, some of which date back to the 1880s.
Intensely fruity with great acidity and firm tannins to balance. Raspberry and black cherry, on the tongue with layers of dark fruit and a bite on the finish.
